A BEAUFORT INN WEDDING IN BEAUFORT, SOUTH CAROLINA
Anjelina and Elijah celebrated their wedding at The Beaufort Inn in the heart of historic Beaufort, South Carolina. From getting ready on property to their outdoor ceremony and reception, the entire day unfolded against the Inn’s white porches, oak trees, and Lowcountry surroundings.
Their day was photographed by the Dana Jo Photo Associate Team, with a focus on the moments happening naturally throughout the celebration — the anticipation before the ceremony, time with their closest people, and everything that unfolded once the party began.
THE WEDDING DAY
Anjelina and Elijah kept their day centered around the people they love most. After getting ready at The Beaufort Inn, they exchanged vows outdoors surrounded by family and friends before spending time together around the property for portraits.
The Beaufort Inn gave us so many different settings without ever having to leave the property, from its historic architecture and porches to the greenery throughout the grounds. Their classic black-and-white wedding style fit naturally into the Beaufort setting and kept the focus on the two of them and the people celebrating alongside them.
THE RECEPTION
After the ceremony, everyone came together for dinner, toasts, and a full dance floor. Southern Spice Deli catered the celebration, while MXM Productions kept the reception moving throughout the night.
Some of my favorite photographs from a wedding day tend to happen once everyone settles into the celebration — the reactions during speeches, people finding each other on the dance floor, and all of the little interactions happening around the couple. Anjelina and Elijah’s reception had plenty of those moments.
